Barba Handmade is a boutique immigrant-owned company focusing on providing the highest-quality handmade goods for the individual looking to elevate their wardrobe.
My designs are minimalist, versatile, and made with old-world artisan techniques. Their repair-ability makes them more sustainable than the ubiquitous fast-fashion trend so you can enjoy responsibly, for life.
Quality
The materials used in each pair are those of the highest-end $400+ shoes. These are hand-lasted, not done on factory-machines. Instead of fast-fashion-typical cemented (glued) construction, I make these using Goodyear Welt to allow for the soles to be replaced when they wear out. This robust construction method takes significant time and attention.
Versatility
Few shoes can be dressed up and down to such range as these. I recommend wearing them with shorts and a t-shirt, with jeans, with pants and a jacket. Some outfit examples will be included on my instagram page, but I'm excited to see what outfits you come up with. They've become my go-to pair of shoes.
Value
The amount you pay for a shoe is driven by several markups and designer taxes, resulting in less shoe for the money. I do things differently. I sell direct to consumer, keep operational costs as low as possible, and compromise on profit margins to make this shoe accessible to as many people as possible. I'm a fan of investing in quality items, but an even bigger fan of providing a great deal.
